I am back, again sorry for not posting in a while- i have a feeling this post will be long so be prepared to read read read :o)
First of all, we have two sweet people from Tennessee who are great friends of David and Marsha "the main missionaries of Puerto Rico". Bob and Lynda came in on their 46 year anniversary, which was precious. They came in to help with whatever is needed to be done in the Office and to help support me in doing all of the activities that i do throughout the week. They have been here almost 3 weeks and will leave this Friday. I am so blessed that they came with servant hearts and to serve me in what i needed. It amazes me at how they are so humble and loving. Cristiana and i were in the kitchen the other day and we saw them hold hands while they blessed their meal- when they said amen, he kissed her hand. Of course, Cristiana and i start awing and saying that one day we pray that God will bless us with a Godly husband who will do that to us. They are still in love with each other and it is encouraging to see what a Godly marriage looks like. Tomorrow, their niece, nephew, son and son's friend will be coming in for a week to serve here. I am quite excited to meet this family- the two guys tha are coiming, go to Union University and i can't wait to ask them if they know some of my friends who go to that University. We shall see- but pray for us as we travel to Arecibo and help out with a VBS in that area- hopefully we can get some CODAs to come and be a part of these VBS.

After the youth retreat- it really took me about a week to get back to "normal" whatever that may mean. I have to admit i was drained, tired, and thirsty ( not in the physical but spiritual). I was so empty that i forgot what i needed to do to refuel myself- i needed to read God's word and ask Him to refresh me. Brothers and Sisters i come to you today renewed and refreshed- even though at times, i may get knocked down with all the stuff there is to be done- i know that i can do this with God. He renews us every morning- we just have to ask. Pray for those who are in ministry and encourage them all you can- it means so much to us.
The Lord's faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end.
They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!

These past two weeks, our office staff has went on mad case of "let's clean everything" which is needed. This office is looking better and better each day with all of our materials organized. This makes is so much easier for me to find things now and to know what we have. I am so blessed that we have everyone hand in hand- working together, giving God all THE GLORY- even when it's shredding papers for hours. Also, all of the windows of the office/my house is boarded up. Why you may ask? Because of hurricanes :( We haven't had any yet but we just want to be prepared. Even though it's depressing to see a board cover the beautiful sunlight that comes in, i have to remember to be thankful for all the hard work it took to protect me in the house.

These 3 men are best friends and they decided to take a trip to Puerto Rico. One of these men are from Woodstock, Ga and are faithful donors to Puerto Rico Deaf Ministries. These men came in to pray for us and say hello. THEY were SO SO FUNNY!!! They are BEST friends and they do everything together. One man quoted, " Okay, so i took some coffee in and now it's time to get it out" aka go to the bathroom. It just cracked us up- they really made my heart smile.
An updated on David and Marsha- we still do not have a certain date of when they will come back to Puerto Rico. David is on strong anti-boticis and we pray that the medicine will work and fight the deep bone infection in his ear- if not then the doctors may have to do surgery. Marsha is sick- continue to pray for her and help the doctors find what is wrong with her. We do miss them and i ask that you will continue to pray for them.
I am still bringing the Hormigerous church to Aguadilla on Sundays- this has been a hard adjustment for these people because it is a LONG ride for them- almost an hour drive but for me two hours. We had some people stop coming to our church. Pray that these people will go to church for the right reason which is to WORSHIP OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. But i am thankful that i still have two CODAs to teach- they are so wonderful and each time we meet the more closer we all become. I praise God for the work He is doing in these CODAs. Also, i went to the Deaf church in Florida on Wednesday night and got to hang out/teach with some CODAs. It just feels great to walk into a room and have these children/youth yell out, "Ezzy" and come and greet me. Bob, Lynda and I went to church this past Saturday in Cayey for Deaf Church- no CODAs came but i got to help interpret and sign songs. I miss signing songs and everyone loved the songs that were signed. It all for God's glory.
This week, i will be helping out with some Vacation Bible School with a missionary group from Missouri. They need some extra hands so i am planning on going to help along with the other missionary family who is coming in tomorrow. I am excited and this will help me prepare for the DAY VBS i am planning for the Arecibo area in July. Also, i am hoping i can encourage some CODAs to attend the VBS this week.
July 26, 27, 28 are the days for the next Youth CODA Retreat. Everyone is so excited about it and they keep talking about it. I am so excited but am covering this event in so much prayer. i ask that you do the same as well. There are so much to be taught to these Youth and so many issues among the families of these youth. Pray that this retreat will really be powerful- this is my desire that GOD WILL BE shown in a powerful way, a way that they will never forget.
Last night, i got to hang out with some of my friends :) We went to Valerie's house and ended up having music night. The father insisted that i play the guitar and sing for them- so i did :) I just want to say that we all always have SO much fun when we are together. I am so blessed with them- i do not even want to think about when i have to leave them. God thank you for these friends who make me smile and laugh so so much. :)
