My Tuesday has been fantastico- the Lord is so good!
It was pouring down rain today a LOT- that we experienced some flooding in our town.
While the rain fell, i had a chance to go and watch it. To sit in silence and to know that HE IS GOD!
"even when the rain falls, even when the flood starts rising, even when the storm comes, i am washed by the water" - NeedtoBreathe
"let it rain... let it rain... open the floodgates of Heaven.. let it rain"
"I'm singing in the rain.. just singing in the rain.. what a glorious feeling.." :)
Life is good and my Heavenly Father is even greater!! So this past week has been a wee bit crazy. I had an allergic reaction to mango!!! Can you believe it? One of my favorite fruits ever but i can no longer eat this item- i had the symptoms of an allergic reaction but it wasn't until Wednesday morning when i knew something was seriously wrong- my right eye was swollen. I couldn't believe it- i was so scared because this has never happened to me before. I went to the doctor and that was the first thing he asked me, "have you been eating mangos?" ahhh- but regardless i am feeling much better and my advice to myself and others, "DO NOT EAT the mangos haha" you can if you want, but for me- it is a big no no! Among the mango chaos new missionaries arrived from Tennessee- they are actually relatives of Bob and Lynda- the previous missionaries that came. They are a fun bunch!! They really helped us a lot with many things we needed to have done to the office aka my house. They have been such a blessing and they leave tomorrow :( I have really enjoyed getting to know them this past week. Tomorrow we are going to tour Old San Juan before they fly out. It's going to be a bLaSt.

This past Friday, i went to Cristiana's house for "Locos para Jesus" night- Crazy for Jesus. This is her youth group and she helps lead it. We all dressed up crazy and did a photo scavenger hunt around her neighborhood. I had such a blast with my awesome team!!! We were the last group to finish the hunt- but it is because we followed the rules :) It was nice being surrounded by more people who love Christ and being a part of a youth group to help my Spanish skills.
Conga line :)
Statues..... can you tell?
This past Sunday for church, i planned "Church at the beach". Since it was the 4th of July and we needed to spice things up a bit- we went to the beach. We had such a blast swimming and having worship right on the beach. It was such a joy seeing people just worship God, in front of everyone. I am so joyful and so glad that God works everything out. Before arriving to the beach, i was so worried we wouldn't have enough food, families wouldn't come, & etc but God proved me wrong- and provided EVERYTHING. God works everything out, i waste so much time worrying. I am so thankful that i can RELY on God and He'll never let me down.
lovely & lovely
Church @ the beach :o)
This girl loves her some cookies... look at evidence of chocolate on her face.. haha!
*the ocean is one of my favorite creations- because it reminds me of this
"14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:14-21
God has really blessed me this week, and each day i'm here i realize more and more of how bigger God is and how HE really does care and provide, even in the little things. Today, we gave a going away party for the missionaries and i gave a devotion on this-
"So thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ, and spreads through us in every place the scent of knowing Him. For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To some we are the scent of death leading to death, but to others, a scent of life leading to life. And who is competent for this? For we are not like the many who make a trade in God's message (for profit), but as those with sincerity, we speak in Christ, as from God and before God."
- 2 Corinthians 2:14-17
Wow- to God we are the fragrance of Christ
, i couldn't believe it. This makes me want to be better, make me more like Christ- to be so fragrant smelling that it would want people to want LIFE- to know CHRIST is to truly truly truly LIVE!!!! amen & amen.
