jammin' in the office ;)

Happy Tuesday EVERYONE- i hope it has been quite wonderful.

I posted a video last week of the river that was GRANDE! Well, this is another video of what it looks like normally- enjoy comparing the two videos :D

Huge difference- am i right?

I need you all to pray for the upcoming girls retreat we will have this Friday & Saturday (October 22 &23) It will be for CODA girls 12 to 18 years old. Pray that these girls come out and really enjoy fellowship. Our theme will be "Obedience"! I am really excited about this because we are going to dig into how we are called to obey our Savior and how does that look like in our individual lives. When we obey God our lives will not all look the same but we will represent the same GOD. i hope these CODAs will seek into what God is telling them to do and that they will OBEY- just like the rest of us. To obey in the little things, to obey HIM with the way we live our lives. :)

Last Wednesday at Church we got Candy Bars- our first time ever trying these candies.. thanks Sandra's dad for treating us CODAs to some sweets!

This past weekend i got to hang out with two of my "puerto rican" sisters. It was a much needed break from being cooped up in the office. They invited me to go to a wedding :) i was so excited and i loved every moment. I love these girls and i am so blessed i have them as my friends and sisters in Christ. We had a blast and i am excited that i got to experience my first Puerto Rican wedding!

Praises/ Prayer Request

The missionaries David and Marsha will return the first week of November- that is great news to hear. Thank you for your prayers for them and continue to pray for their health as they return back to the island.

Our Ministry that in these last few weeks that i have here that i am able to be FOCUSED in the CODAs and Deaf around me. Also, i am praying in the future, possibly returning to Puerto Rico. Pray for the decisions that are coming up for me (full-time job back home, Grad School possibilities, paying off loans, living arrangements, getting my NIC interpreting certification and if God calls me back to this little island i have fallen in love with.)

Our vehicles, the mini van is completely fixed but now the Red Van is acting up. Toyota still isn't fixed because the adjustor still hasn't came by to give us an adjustment price. Pray that we can get another reliable vehicle and/or all of our cars can be fixed for a low price.

The retreat coming up this weekend- that God will BLOW these ladies away and that they'll fall MORE IN LOVE WITH CHRIST!!!!!!!

thank you all so much for your thoughts & prayers for our ministry!
you are a blessing in my life!!!
until next time...
abrazos y risas!
