God is my favorite artist!

     I cannot express to you how beautiful my Lord is! I have been in Puerto Rico for almost a month and SO much has happened. Wonderful and incredible things that i am not even capable of doing- my friends, Jesus has been touching hearts! I am so humbled to even think, that He would pick someone like me, a small town CODA, to come to this island and share the Gospel with these people. At times, i do not even feel worthy enough to say His name (Jesus)  but when i do, it brings me so much joy. The Lord provides, the Lord moves and He never leaves us or me the same. 
  
    It makes me sad to know that in a few days i am returning back to the states, because i know there is so much to be done here. I trust in the Lord and praise Him for the time that i have had since i have been here. Thank to all of you who has prayed for me, encouraged me, and sent money support to me since i have been here. You are in hand in doing missions with me just by doing those things. Love you all very much. 

   I have been on the GO ever since i landed my feet on this island. You can ask my assistant, Sandra, we have BEEN EVERYWHERE doing ministry. Reaching out to those who are hungry to know who God is. We have been everywhere to the point our minds cannot even think straight. It has even taken a toll on our speech to one another. For example, I was on the phone with Marsha (missionary) after we have gotten back from Vega Alta at a Deaf fellowship at the beach and i said, "Shower in the Sandra, we'll be at your house when she finishes". What i meant to say was, "Sandra is in the shower". We have had many funny moments where we were so tired and funny things have came out of our mouths/hands.

Speaking of Sandra- Y'all this girl has been such a blessing to me. She has been by my side since i been in Puerto Rico. She has helped me with everything, that David & Marsha call her my assistant missionary. It has been amazing being able to know her and to see her grow in the Lord. She has a passion of just sharing life with people and it is beautiful. She reminds me of me at times, but it is probably because we have spent so much time together. She has even encouraged me in times when i feel like i can't accomplish all that i need to do, and she just reminds me, "Izzy, do not worry, keep walking, keep breathing and God's got it". Sandra thank you for being super amazing and letting the Lord use you this summer. God has amazing plans for her and i am so excited to see what they will be. 

CODA/GODA Ladies Retreat

  Today was the last day for the ladies retreat we had! It was so much fun and i enjoyed getting to know these ladies. Their desire is to learn more about God and this week, God truly made Himself known. Continue to pray for these girls as they return back to their homes. I'll go more into detail a little bit later this week about what we did and talked about on the retreat. 

 Thank you all for being awesome and reading my update. Continue to pray for the people on this island, pray for me as i spend my last few days here and let the name of the Lord be known!
